Meet the Brewer(s) Green Dragon 10-27-09

Hop Harvest Pale Ale coming soon.....

The recently brewed 2bbl's of Hop Harvest Pale Ale was kegged tonight We were fortunate enough to get both fresh Cascade and Willamette hops for this years HH brew, and the end result was fantastic.. Green Dragon Mini-Beer Fest Postponed

Due to a road closure, this weekends mini-brew fest that was scheduled at the Green Dragon has been postponed until September 19th and 20th. I hope you can make it then and support the Portland Pixie Project that a portion of the proceeds of this festival goes to help.

Vertigo Brewing to Participate in Green Dragon Mini Beerfest

Vertigo Brewing will participate in the upcoming mini-beerfest

http://oregonbeer.org/2009/08/18/mini-beer-fest at the Green Dragon on August 29th and 30th. Only breweries that produce less than 1,000 barrels of beer annually are invited to participate. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Portland-based Pixie Project http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OR207.html, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing animal adoption in a nurturing environment and affording access to spay and neuter services for everyone.

It has come to my attention that O'Brien's Pub in Hillsboro will fill your growlers. Vertigo Razz Wheat and Friar Mike's IPA is on tap there and you can get it to go. They do not sell the growlers there, but if you have one they will fill it for you.

Warm Summer Days

Hi all, we have just kegged our first seasonal. We have a great Rye beer for the next couple of months. This beer is light and refreshing. It goes great with a Reuben sandwich. Look for it in the coming weeks at the better beer bars and restaurants. We are sure you will enjoy this summer beer.

OBF Update

Hi, I want to give a big shout out to everyone that made the Vertigo Razz Wheat a huge success down at the Oregon Brew Fest. I hope everyone enjoyed it. Saturday and Sunday had big lines for our beer. If you didn't get a chance to taste it, you can find it out in Hillsboro at O'Briens Pub. You can also find our Apricot Cream Ale at Henry's Tavern in Portland and at the Venetian Theatre in Hillsboro.
